EXOTIC SPIDER

School closed due to spider
Whiteland’s Park Primary school in Berkshire was forced to close its doors after a an unknown spider was found on its premises by a classroom assistant, of which she tried to trap the spider but by the time she had reached for a trap the spider had ran off.

The spider was found crawling out a set of drums that had been bought from Senegal for the children’s music workshop.

The spider was reported to have been the size of an adults palm.

The school has since been fumigated as a precaution. It is not yet known what type of spider it is but Experts at London zoo said by the description that was given they think it may be a Tropical House Spider , and if bitten by the spider then it can cause a nasty reaction
