Harris Hawk escapes
A Harris hawk, being trained by West Mercia Police's wildlife liasion officer
has escaped. PC Bob Fryer was moving the bird from an aviary at his home
in Nesscliffe when it flew off. Anyone with information should call Shrewsbury
police on: 08457 444 888.

WOLVES
Four
large wolves were seen near Lilleshall, Salop. One was killed and the others
captured. It was suggested that they had escaped from a collection. This information
came from The Shrewsbury Herald.

CORN SNAKE
Snake on Stairs
A 4ft long corn snake was found in the home of the Leather family, Copthorne
Road, Shrewsbury. It wriggled away and re-appeared two days later.
