Bird of Prey Stolen
Thieves broken into an aviary in to steal a 2ft high goshawk on 21st May. The owner has been informed that the bird was released in the Hartlepool area on 6th June. Anyone who sees it should contact Cleveland Police. Because the goshawk is registered it is difficult to sell in the normal way. There are about 300 pairs in Britain but their locations are usually kept secret.
