Pigs help wallaby escape
A wallaby escaped from a Bristol zoo after three pot-bellied pigs dug a tunnel
under his enclosure. Wally, an Albino Wallaby, made his way out of Noah’s
Ark zoo into woodland. He may have been escaping from Wendy, the female with
whom he was expected to mate.
Wally returns to the
zoo each night to eat vegetables but so far has evaded staff who are planning
on using a tranquilizer to capture him. The pigs did not escape, preferring
to stay close to their food.
